Crusaders are our respected Sector Experts who lead and guide HVT on a particular sector of their expertise. They support us in building the strategy, in developing our programs and outreach for the sector. We work closely with them to monitor, review and measure the impact that each of our project is targeted to deliver. As Crusaders they also assist us in our engagement with hosts and grassroot partners and guide us in delivering our projects successfully.
Dr. Vrajesh Parikh is a constant learner and a Change Maker. He is currently the General Manager at Science Popularization. He is a Research Based & Project Based Learning Expert, Science Communicator, Consultant for Environmental issues (Waste Water Management & Effluent Treatment), Entrepreneurship (Social & Educational) and Education. He has a remarkable background as a Chemistry faculty member and an Industry-Academy project advisor. He is also an IBM Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, UN Volunteer and a Global Goodwill Ambassador. Dr. Parikh has received prestigious awards for his innovative teaching methods and is also a career guidance and counsellor and SDG Educator and many more.
He is a strong guiding force for various projects under the education, community development and Environmental issues for HVT.
Nilay Parikh, the Sevak founder of Good for Nothing, Pune, together with his team, they selflessly serve the communities providing benefits through knowledge, skills, experience, education, digital social media, teaching, videography, photography, content creation, teacher training, social awareness, environmental projects, sustainable living, women’s empowerment, girl’s education, and theatre. They have been working presently in the interior villages of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
They generate revenues from urban sources to support village schools with their essential requirements. Nilay has successfully initiated libraries in remotest of Himalayan regions and also helped collaborate with other local NGO’s for awareness programs. He will be an active advisor for education and skilling projects for HVT.
Meet Imtiaz, a Corporate Lawyer, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Senior Travel Correspondent for The Traveller Trails magazine. He is also an Advisory Member for the NGO Sarvahitey. Imtiaz’s travel philosophy revolves around exploring new places, immersing in local cultures, and being a responsible traveller. He actively participates in projects aimed at uplifting society and promoting responsible and volunteer tourism. Imtiaz is the founder of NomadLawyer, a travel website dedicated to transformative travel, responsible tourism, and culinary experiences, providing readers with enriching travel stories and insights into travel laws and social responsibility projects through the SalamatRaho initiative. Imtiaz will be advising Team HVT for all legal and compliance issues.
Shiva, is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in various sectors including education, international marketing, PR, operations and development. Passionate about making a difference, she transitioned from the corporate world to the not-for-profit sector, dedicating her expertise to leading the education domain. Shiva is not only an accomplished leader but also an artist with a flair for scriptwriting and theatre having served as an instructor for theatre at the prestigious London School of Music. Her outstanding management, communication, and team management skills make her an invaluable asset to HVT, especially for educational initiatives, creative alternative teaching methods and mentorship programs.
Yaatendra Mamgain, known as Yeti, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. His journey began with Adventures Infinite, specializing in boutique inbound tours in Ladakh, Lahaul Spiti, and Western Nepal. He later ventured into hospitality and tourism planning, consulting with state governments for infrastructure development. Currently, as CEO of Bakri ChhapAgro Tourism and Natural Products Pvt Ltd, Yaatendra is devoted to empowering underprivileged Himalayan villages through rural development. Yeti will be advising and curating projects for HVT under community development and skilling initiatives.
Kristeena Grover is a seasoned Entrepreneur, Branding & Marketing Expert, and Consultant with over 23 years of industry experience. She has worked across diverse sectors, including healthcare, higher education, hospitality, manufacturing, and government. Her core strengths lie in identifying market trends, developing marketing strategies, and creating impactful brand communications. Kristeena has worked with renowned brands such as Dominos, Startup India, IVI Fertility Clinics, and Apollo Spectra Hospitals. She is also a dedicated trainer and mentor, having provided guidance to numerous women entrepreneurs and MSME clusters. Additionally, Kristeena is the Founder-Director of Bare Rituals Holistic Wellness Pvt. Ltd. and a strategic consultant actively involved in NGOs for education, community development, skill development, and sustainability projects. HVT mentor for creating model villages, especially in remote areas.
Dr. Prasana Shirveker is a trusted, patient-focused doctor with extensive experience in Homeopathy and Bach Flower Remedies. With a postgraduate degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, she excels in counselling, diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses. Seeking suitable positions in esteemed organizations, Dr.Shirveker brings expertise in preventive care, excellent patient interactions, and strong dietary knowledge, especially in weight management and lifestyle changes. Has attended many conferences on Bach Flower Therapy in India and the UK. Dr Navya will be looking into healthcare and wellness projects for HVT.
Dr. Manish Kansal, is a practicing Dental surgeon based in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. With a degree from the renowned KGMU, Lucknow, Dr. Kansal is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care through medical camps for the less privileged. Besides his professional expertise, he is also an avid traveller and nature enthusiast. As the founder of NOMADS, a motorcycle touring group, he has organized numerous rides across India, fostering a community of approximately 5000 travellers worldwide. Dr. Kansal has also made significant contributions to various NGOs in the health sector, particularly in rural areas in the Himalayan region. Dr Kansal will be supporting HVT for healthcare and medical camps.

She is a management post graduate, veteran educator and entrepreneur believes on justifying purpose of existence is that she wishes to lead a life filled with the desire to serve, uplift, and empower people from all walks of life.
She is the Founder of Vedgunn Foundation, a NGO registered under section 8. It’s mission is to provide “EDUCATION FOR ALL”. The Foundation works at Grass root level to help less privileged children to access quality education. They provide Education, Guidelines, Training and Directions for lower income community group children. They are associated with AIRCCE IGNOU too.
Nalini Mehra is an esteemed educator with over 35 years of teaching experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University, where she topped the university and received a gold medal in Geography. Nalini also pursued a master’s degree from Delhi School of Economics and a B.Ed. degree from Bombay. She specializes in teaching Hindi, Sanskrit, and Geography to high school students. In addition to her teaching career, Nalini is involved in fabric hand painting and actively engages with ancient scriptures and the geographical importance of the Himalayas. Nalini will be supporting women’s entrepreneurship initiatives and creativity in education for HVT.
Working with women from border areas of Rajasthan. The traditional
embroidery by the artisans is used with handwoven cotton and innovative designs. The products are eco-friendly. This is an attempt to promote the craft from these border areas and provide employment women artisans. It has been 15-20 years and these products have been helping these women support their families and sustain their household expenses.
Razesh Kumar is a Ford Foundation International Fellow and Senior Fellow- William J Clinton Fellowships for Service in India and completed his Masters in ‘International Education and Development’ UK and Masters in ‘Human Resource Development & Management’. Razesh has more than 16 years of experience as a Professional/Consultant in the Education Sector with a demonstrated history of working in the Indian and international non-profits, Corporates and CSRs. He has worked in the sector in various capacities such as teacher, teachers’ trainer, researcher, program head, and consultant. Currently, he is associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the domain of Higher Education with Govt of Jharkhand. He will be advising the HVT team for CSR proposals, grants, and education projects.

Looking back at what brings me here today, helps me to understand that life in it’s process goes through various changes. These changes helps us gather marvelous experiences that we can utilize it for our development and also participate in the acts that support the development of the planet. The state of unawareness in one’s mind is a key factor which determines his strength and courage to choose the path that takes him/her to an unexplored journey and allows one to open up new methods or pattern of learning which adds abundance of adventurous and exciting moments in every step of life.
After formal education, began working in various small B.P.O.’s, food industries (worked on and off during formative years as well), recruitment offices, events and worked as a volunteer in many sports, cultural and environmental events in early days of school and college. Joined the Crude oil Industry in the early 20’s and worked for 6-7.
